Before you fit the covers
Start with the instructions supplied with your set. Fitting and cleaning methods vary between products. The right approach helps protect the material, fastening and intended fit.
Check the product name or code against your order and the listed vehicle or seat type. Confirm which seats and headrest pieces are included.
Read the fitting guide, including driver/passenger markings and any airbag-seam instructions.
Identify the correct cover for each seat and follow the directions for the supplied fastenings.
Do not force a cover onto a mismatched seat or alter it to make it fit. Contact the team when a component or fitting step is unclear.
Fitting & Care Help
Check the finished fit
Follow the supplied checks for positioning and secure fastening. Check access to seatbelts, buckles, headrests, seat adjustments and applicable restraint anchors as directed by the product and vehicle instructions.
All Tuff Skin seat covers are ISOFIX compatible. For other ranges, check the selected product’s information. Keep access to applicable factory ISOFIX or child-restraint anchors unobstructed where fitted; a cover does not add or replace factory anchors.
For airbag-compatible covers, follow the designated seat and seam positioning. Do not alter, cover over or reinforce an airbag-release seam.
If a cover slips, pulls on a seam or interferes with a seat function, stop and ask for help before continuing.
Fitting & Care Help
Routine care
Gently remove loose dirt and address spills promptly. Use the cleaning and drying methods permitted for your specific covers.
Neoprene
Follow the product's spot-cleaning and drying instructions. Water resistance does not mean you can soak or machine-wash a cover.
Sheepskin
Use the dust-removal and cleaning methods recommended for your sheepskin product. Do not assume ordinary laundry methods or household detergents are suitable for the wool and backing.
Canvas
Remove loose dirt before cleaning as directed. Wipe spills promptly and avoid unapproved cleaners or harsh scrubbing.
Velour
Keep loose dust and debris from building up. Follow the supplied spot-cleaning guidance rather than assuming the complete set can be machine washed.
The care label takes priority over this general guide. Keep the supplied instructions with your purchase details.
